Apartment/shop build
I've recently started renting/buying my Grandparents old 20,000 sq ft building, they have been using it as a warehouse, and are in the process of moving all this crap out of it, I wanna live here, it already has a bathroom(adding a shower), hot water heater, and electricity, I was kinda thinkin of extending the walls of the bathroom over to the left all the way, and closing it off to make that a kitchen, then on the top off those, make it a Loft for a bedroom. But I want more ideas, any and all comments welcome
Here's some pics
Way off in the background lol

Gotcha. I'd love to have a building like that.

Man that's badass.
I'd love to have a place like that. Shop with a section for living.

Re: Apartment/shop build
sweet!
when i retire, i want a similar building. one side will be dedicated to living...
one suggestion (as you requested) is to try out 'QuietRock' sheetrock panels. they do very well insulating against sound as well as temperature. it's a lot more expensive than 'eggcrate' or foam though...
