Budget 2005 ranger xlt project log
So just being 17 and all i was fortunate enough to find a 2005 Ford Ranger xlt 2wd 3.0l that was in decent condition to start with for a low enough price. Paycheck to paycheck i have been adding to it over the past few months and i think its been coming along well. I cant get the photos of when i first got the truck but i have some photos of the new wheels and tires.
http://www.fordrangerforum.com/membe...31-stance.jpeg
I haven't listed some of the little things i have done to it, so here are some: Bushwacker bed rail liner and tailgate cap, some random drop in bed liner, new plugs, wires, coilpack, gas cap, avs in channel window visors, new brake pads, 06+ corner lights, etc. just small stuff here and there until i got the tires and wheels.
BUT just got some 2006+ mirrors and i will colormatch the caps and also ordered a new lower bumper that will look 10x better than the one that is on there now. Also ordering some 2 inch lift coils with shocks in the front to level it out. I will post more once i get some of the new things on.

Nice looking truck! It's in better shape than my '08, but then again I live in Canada, where road salt reigns supreme in the winter

Nice truck, it would look even better if you painted your front valence black.
I guess I need to read above lol. Carry on.

Looks good!!. You've got yourself a nicer, newer better condition twin to mine.
I'm not a fan of big crime tips. But I think it looks good on your truck. I need to do something with mine. It's a custom setup. But comes straight out the back and squeaks because it rubs on the spare.
I've been thinking of doing something similar to what you have.

I wouldn't say that, your truck is super clean! and i like the tip coming out there, the only problemis it gets grimy really quick but other than that I think it is an improvement over the stock exit. (Weight reduction haha)I had a flowmaster 40 on it but went with a super 10. I thought if the tip is going to be obnoxious the sound should be too right?😂

Clean looking truck. Subscribed.
And if you are planning on installing the coils yourself I'm your guy if you have any questions. I know every single nut bolt and part on it.

I would actually do some research on your own first before asking him questions... He's had a few mishaps..............
