Default Project: Rubeo Bestia- Latin for little red beast

I've had this truck for 2 years now and finally getting around to having a project log for it. It's going to be a slow project log since I'm in college and time and money is cut short some times.

Putting some photos on Photobucket since I guess photos from my Flickr won't work. So I'll just have a link for that since that has about all my photos.

I'll have this in order as much as possible

This is from when I first got the truck. Paid $2,000 for it and the original owner wants it back so bad

It's kind of hard to tell but it needed a buffing and wet sanding bad so that's what my grandpa and I did while he was in town

After that I put some speakers in which i didn't get a photo of but i did put some different ones in later. And some new carpet while i was at it.

I then added the air intake tube from a 4.0l since mine was damaged.

During somewhere in the time line my brake cylinder gave up on me while I had a load in the bed so I had fluid everywhere. Had to change the pads and everything. It was also my first time with drum brakes

I then got some new rubber and changed out the read diff fluid

Figured out my injectors where going bad since number 6 was just dead. So I did that and replaced the valve cover seals since one was leaking.

I then bought a brush guard off of Craigslist for $100. Sadly i have no idea what the brand is but its freaking solid. I then got a light bar from OPT7 for $112. It was on sale so win for me. The thing is way bright and I love it.

Light bar on
Light bar and headlights

I also ended up changing my sending unit and fuel pump. Found out my gauge wasn't working when I ran out of gas

Just more recently I put some plasti dip on the truck and installed the Explorer OHC and visors. Just need to wire it up and do touch ups. This weekend I'm going to install my new grill so I'll be doing that swap soon so it'll be looking like the 01-03. Decided to keep the bumper i have now. Its cheaper that way and why not be different? Haha

For now that's all and just about everything I've done so far. I'll be adding more later when time permits. I'll link my Flickr later since that's more up to date

Random photos from when i went camping this summer at Stanley Lake here in Idaho

Thanks man. Just got it done today. Looks freaking sick. Just need to put my emblem on it once i find the right nuts for it. Also, does anyone know how to fix bumper alignment? It seems off. Almost as if its sagging or something. My brush guard also touches it so alignment is off somewhere
Right as I was leaving to get it

Right after installing it

Also, when i did the air box mod, every once in awhile i will get a humming from it at idle. Anyone else had this happen before? Anyway to fix it?

Might be picking up a mechanics special ranger in a few days. Don't know what year it is or what. Was just told about them. So either it'll be a parts truck and then I'll sell the rest or fix it and sell it and get a little more cash

How hard was it to replace to the carpet? I have yet to find a guide and I think it'll be a nice upgrade in my truck

It actually wasn't very hard at all. I think the hardest part was making sure everything was aligned and cutting it. From memory all I did was take out the seats, the paneling that runs down the side on the floor, cup holder and i believe i took out the back seats and the jack holder

Update: added my autobot stickers finally that I got from a member on here. Forgot his name off hand, I'll find it later. and peeled off some of the plasti dip from the rocker panels since it was peeling from being nicked. Not sure if I'm going to take it all off or just respray. What do you guys think?

Ahhh. It was too early to function. I was thinking about it but I'm not sure if i want to be committed to something like that yet.

Thanks! Lots of little things through out the 2 years I've had it. Didn't realize I've done so much until I made this haha.
