i bet the rust on that things is going to be pretty bad. if it has sentimental value i'd just say fix it mechanically and drive it till it dies. to each their own when it comes to customizing a car, i just don't feel like a lumina is worth it, because in the end...its still a lumina. if you decide to get rid of it though parting it out is always the best bet when it comes to getting the most $$$ out of a junk car.

I have a 1995 that was my grandmothers. It was an LS, with the 3.1 but mine looks really good. Plus it's fast as hell now..a Northstar 4.6 swap with Getrag M20 5-speed.

honestly though it would be my beater that i would drive like a truck, and take 4wheeling lol. I take my geo metro like that. it goes everywere. Il keep watch at this car lol

i can't beleive i missed this thread! before i started driving my ranger full time i drove my '97 monte carlo i bought for $400, i love that car! also had a '96 Z34 with the 3.4 DOHC engine.
and i really want the OP's brickyard spoiler for my red car!!
