These guys are pretty quick to help. I love reading on here lots of good info. I rarely post, because I usually get my questions answered quickly.

Well, I ran into an issue. 2 issues really. I'll post this in the interior & exterior tech forums too.

I think I have to take off the "spring hangers"? to remove the 4 bolts that are sticking up in the truck bed. Take a look at this video and let me know if you see an easier way. I have no idea how to remove the spring hangers. I'll be googling that later.

2nd issue: I removed the seat to fix the mechanism that allows the seat to stay upright or lean back. (I know. The truck is dirty!)

The original nut & bolt was sheared off and a piece of the bolt is stuck in the hole and I am not able to remove it. : (

From what I have read so far I need some sort of "tap" bit or something? I'm not sure. I'm going to a hardware store later today.

Overall yesterday was pretty unsuccessful and a little frustrating. I took time off and away from family to try to do a "quick fix" and ultimately just had to put it all back. At least I am learning what questions to ask. I'll get it done.

I had a request for some photos for the rear mudflap and mudflap brackets. Since my earlier mudflap post may appear in searches, I figured I would include photos of the rear mud flaps here. Here are photos from both sides.

That sucks. Those floor bolts are a btich as it is when rusty. They make extactors for the broken bolt.
