from that point on it goes on top of the frame all the way to the firewall were it will go into a tee with pressure switch to a small line into the residual valve





as you can see the last tube is in, so besides the cross brace and a few gusset plates engine cage is done, minus mounting components and the bumper thats tied in and the radiator and engine oil cooler

Put tire on, it actually clears at full lock and full bump, just barely though. Going to do a lil shaving, but not sure if the steering even allows full lock, tucks nice and good

Crossbrace, looks pretty good, our welder has only gone through one bottle of gas on his tig, never tig before that…. So he is not happy with it and wishes he did it with mig, but I think it’s good enough. Practice makes perfect

picked up some goodies.... Got a 97 v8 limited ford explorer to drive daily...and in the summer going to tackle it with a FAST designed a-arm



Today I bought a rolled 2000 ford explorer with a SOHC motor, yep thats right, ohv is coming out and this is getting juiced up and going in.



We started on bumper today, frame horns are all cut out, should be done by the time I go back to AZ end of week, will also have my dash, radiator, and second cooler by then. The bumper is completly bolt on 2 3/4" bolts on our extended frame mounts and header type flanges for the top tubes through the hood... going to be bitchin

Here is the 97 limited I got for myself (notice front bumper), and the 2000 sport for the motor and to part out… Don’t have a picture of Dads Durango, but it was only front and rear damage so guessing end over end.
