As long as your happy.. Outside of that, you'd only be adding value. Buying a truck like ours and throwing $10k or more at it will bring value.. Not saying you have to spend $10k to get to value.. just saying any money spent if done correctly should add value..

On another note..
Picked these up today.
The rears will need to have the fenders rolled.. Perfect. We have some 114* days coming up soon.. LOL
Meaty!
First set got me just over 53K and ill put another 400-600 miles on them before I mount these same day I do all upper/lower ball joints, new rotors, brakes, bearings, seals, and pivot bushing.. and the alignment.
The other three I order in 2 weeks for the spare, and two for the trailer project.

Re: Undrstm8ed's 93' XLT Overlanding build...
Good luck making a 33 fit without a decent amount of lift. My old 2wd Mazda took 4" of lift and i could destroy rear fenders when flexing to clear 285/75r16s(.1" taller then your new ones)

This was days after new DynaPRO M/T 265/70-17 [ Hankook list these at 32.7" in diameter, every manufacture is slightly different in how they list specs. Hankook seems to be one that rounds up] with just 2" spacer and 1.7" lift from a HD leaf pack. Originally, every once in awhile, I could get the rear tires to grab a lip and pull on it leaving a wrinkled 2" section of inner fender lip to have to bend back up or in. Once I did the 2" body lift, never had the problem again.... New tires are 33.8", I am hoping the 1" more in diameter isnt an issue.
However,.. Couple things are changing soon and the need for tires was kinda.. now. That being said, Truck cab, bed, engine, and some major modds are being swapped over to a 4x4 frame for a 4WD conversion along with the possible removal of the 2" B/L and replaced with a 3" B/L kit instead. With that will be the mid travel front suspension and working with Deaver for the rear spring setup. Then will come into play 4" of lift and some width adjustments. Much info left out in the sense of details now but as I go along, it'll all be documented, photographed, and I'm hoping dialog along the way above that of my own. But for now, I feel I might be back to square one in the new shoes with the lip tugging. [Sigh]
We'll see next week..

I think what he meant was he needs more room to clear those tires. I'm definitely taller and can rub my 285/75r16s at each corner. Without more lift bye bye fenders with those tires

I get what you guys are saying, and ultra, same size tire he has 😂.
He needs to swap the 2"bl for a 3" bl and he should be in decent shape at that point... Dont see him flexing that truck out too much

So far, only rubbing I get is at full lock on the front sway bar.. and for some reason, the drivers side will rub a tad [not every time] on the inner rear splash guard which I think is due to a slightly different shape that protects either a wire harness or the E-brake cable. I haven't verified fully whats behind it.
Outside of that, normal trail roads, spur roads, street wise.. Nada! Even when getting on it I am a bit surprised at 350K on the original engine and trans, 3.73 rear end, the snorkel and Flowmaster 40 turndown, if this damn truck wasn't "bluuuue" it would look as intimidating as it looks running up & through traffic as it sounds.
I think thats gonna change in a couple months... Yea. New Torsion bar for the Flip-Pac, the new shock designs front and back, and then the color change.. tired of waiting.
