Kinda like the stock shocks vs Bilstein shocks. The Bilsteins are much stiffer but they're also softer. Don't really know how to explain it other than that. I'm really skeptical about those snouts. If I could get some Fabtech spindles and press in some Ford snouts then that's probably the only way I would. There's a guy I follow on Instagram who had some actual Fabtechs and the snout bent completely off. But you never hear of a factory spindle breaking. Not to mention I have both inner and outer bearings and brake rotors that are less than a year old. Probably wait a while for spindles. Shackles, yes sir! AAL, noooooo. I don't want a stiff ride(no source for that) Probably Deaver F31's. Because they're really soft..? If I can find a good deal on them and do more research. And if you have ever driven a 2.3 Ranger then you would know that they are terribly slow. My mileage suffered plenty when I went from 225/70 (27.4") up to 31's. But they look greeaaatttttt on Rangers. I lie the way your truck looks. Next mod is some Bilsteins for the rear. I took off the Motorcraft shocks on the back to test them, they're still good but not enough dampening force to suit my wants. All very good options though.
What about uca angles?

have fun with the ecoboost swap! Lol. I wanted that for a while too and it would be really awesome. But $$$$$

It's pretty good, the upper arms are about parallel with the ground. If not a little down more.
The lower arm, however is probably like a 30* angle.

Seriously. Lol that'll be long after my engine and tranny die. Probably like 350,000 miles if I'm lucky.

Right now I'm in the process of making a "coil spring extravaganza"
A very detailed how-to on coil springs, installation and removal. Waiting on feedback from Maxtrac and a couple other companies on coil dimensions and then it will be up. I've already got about 1500 words so far.

I know nothing about torsion bars. Lol.
Most of my write up is out of experience, so it's pretty accurate. If I add torsion bars I feel like I would just be talking out my ass.

Got a couple emails back from custom spring companies. They may be able to build me a spring based off the dimensions and spring rate I provide them. One gave me a quote for $238. Not bad at all. America for the winnnnnn!!

----------

This guy emailed back quick! 4 inch increase - $298.

Looks like my Maxtracs will be for sale soon.

For 2 inches of lift they charge $238
And for 4 inches of lift they charge $298

One was in Detroit and the other was in LA so shipping may be reasonable for Detroit, LA I can just go pick up.

Alright, I passed up on the sport bumper, now I think I'll be getting a camper shell. Haha I always thought they were dumb but for camping = win. I have several local ads for sale for around $90-$200.
