Hey fellas, my name is Mike and this is my build thread for my Ford Ranger XLT. I bought it from my brother in April 2014 with 53,000 miles for $5000. For the most part this truck has been a garage queen and looks brand new.

Used the Ranger to move in to the new house! Towed this 20ft trailer like a champ!

I know this mod is a copy cat from some other guys here on the forum but I liked the way it looked and I like my truck color so I thought I would give it a try. I think it turned out great!

I used Smiggins to pick up a load of gravel for my RV parking.



My dog wanted to hang out in my box once it was cleared out.

Did another paint to match mod... Torsion bar skids got 5 coats of paint and 4 of clear coat. I did this during the winter and they still look brand new!

Blacked out the headlights. I was nervous to try this with all the heating and prying and taping going on with this project but it turned out great and still looks good. And while it is a bit of work, it's not as hard as it seems and I definitely recommend doing this!

I am still waiting for my new mirrors to arrive... UPS tracking says Monday. So I got the truck cleaned and detailed the engine bay.

Just put it on hold so I can save some money for a good lift and some General Grabbers.

Those mirrors are fantastic. I have the little blind spot mirrors on mine so I can see everything. I don't ever look over my shoulder.

Yeah I am really looking forward to the change. I feel like the new look almost changes the stance of the whole truck. And I have thought about doing the blind spot mirrors for a while now but not sure where to put them where they wont bug me. I will probably just leave them off, I have done without them for this long...
