Update: fixed all the problems with the speedo and wipers, it ended up that my friend who was helping me with the swap was tired of the door beeper so he just unplugged the connector that was making the beep not knowing that the same plug behind the radio was tied in with those other functions.... Oh well at least everything works again!

----------

I'm gonna try and get a video out so you guys can hear it and see the mess up close

How does it feel? Do you see yourself wanting more power in the future?

The thing has a ton of power I love it, the thing has a 5 second 0to60 and it just has so much power on tap. I'm gessing the truck is making about 270 and I am ok with that for now but it would be nice to have more but I don't think I'll ever get a supercharger or anything

----------

My truck also only weighs 3100 with the 5.0

How much did the 5.0 weigh? Probably like 450 right?

I'm thinking about getting my intake ported. Once I get the cam in and 24# injectors I'm going to play with tuning to see what kind of numbers I can put down

Many of you have probably forgotten about my build but I have had some problems that have put the ranger out of commission for the last 2 months but I am finally fixing it this week. The 5.0 has not been sitting right since its been in and have not been able to figure out why... But I figured it out **** to all who are doing a 2wd coil spring swap and previously had a 3.0 the spacer on the driver side mount has to be removed or else the pan will rub and you will get a hole in your pan. Btw dose anyone know a good tuner who can make custom tunes and send them thru the mail for explorer 5.0s?

SCT is one of the best tuners out there, Don at lasota racing did mine, great guy to work with.
