Yea, the semester ends in 4 weeks, so hopefully I'll have some more time to throw at the truck then. Haha

Reading my last post makes me chuckle lol
Didn't end up having much, or any, time to work on the truck this summer. I was able to do a few little things, like shocks, a wheel bearing, and remounting the light bar.
Here's the new light bar mounts:
I also found this...
The drivers side floor pan is pretty much shot. On the Brightside, it looks like the cancer is limited to the outer edge of the drivers side floor, in front of the seat. Well, and the tailgate, bed, and core support, but that's a whole nother story. haha
So it looks like I'm gonna have to find a fairly clean donor at the junk yard and cut a floor pan out of it.
And finally, the ranger got a little brother.
Its a 2006 Focus Zx5 5 speed with 117,000 miles. Got it about three weeks ago to use as a commuter (back and forth to CO-OP and school) and to have a second vehicle to drive when workin on the truck.

Well, this happened today...
Still brand new in the box from superlift. I Didn't really have plans of a suspension lift, but got a deal I couldn't pass up. Ended up payin 800 for the lift (NIB) and a superlift skid plate (NIB). Now I just gotta find the time to install it... Haha

Yep. The box with the new knuckles, the box with the rear blocks and u bolts, and the big box with all the drop brackets and hard ware. Even got the instruction booklet with it.
That's on the list! Haha. Right after ball joints and tie rod ends

I'm happy with it. This is just the tip of the iceberg, but you know all about that. Haha

Re: jimmyspy's '02 4x4
Well, used my time off for the holidays to get the superlift installed. Install went pretty well, other than having to cut the LCA bolts. The weather slowed me down a little too, but you kinda expect that when you're working in the driveway. haha
Did upper/lower balljoints, outer tie rod ends, and LCA bushings while I had it apart.
Still have to mess with the rear brake lines. I'm also having an issue with the sway bar end links; they seem to be to short and the sway bar is dangerously close to the tie rods. Should be an easy fix though. Just need to make up a longer spacer and come up with some longer bolts.
Today I picked up a set 33/12.5/15 duratracs on 15x8 DC2s. I'm not really a fan of the DC2s, but I couldn't pass em up for the price.
Pics to follow, trucks getting an alignment as we speak.

Made a pair of longer spacers for the sway bar end links today.
Picked up an 18" piece of 1/2" black iron pipe and cut 2 8" pieces off of it. Then welded a 7/16 flat washer and a 3/8 fender washer to each end and gave em a coat of paint. Just gotta pick up some longer bolts tomorrow and throw them on the truck

Got the sway bar end links taken care of. Also reworked my winch cradle to get the winch to sit close to the bumper. Then went for a little drive.
On the drive shaft front, I ordered the neapco adapter from northern drivetrain. Also picked up an explorer driveshaft from the junkyard, but I haven't had a chance to have it shortened yet.
