Dude this Is the perfect build thread, and you did exactly what I wanted to do to my truck with the BTF mid travel. Now that I got that full time job I can start. Looks really good man!

Thanks man, I appreciate it. It was a slow process but I think taking your time is half the fun. If you blow through everything too fast, you finish your project and lose interest. I suggest you save up, take your time, do things right and enjoy your truck. Be sure to keep me updated when you start doing yours.

Re: ShaneOMac's Simple Sleeper Build
Small update. Just trying to get back what I lost. Hoping the black parts and 90° shock mount will make them even less visible.
Also, got a BD 20" Onx6

Re: ShaneOMac's Simple Sleeper Build
BADASS truck man. Really makes me want to build a prerunner again. Just sucks there's no reason to have one on the east coast.

Re: ShaneOMac's Simple Sleeper Build
I can ask him. Are you wanting the engine cover, the door hinge cover or both?

Re: ShaneOMac's Simple Sleeper Build
I'll ask him if he wants to make more and keep you posted.
Got the tires mounted. They ride amazing on the street. Haven't taken them off-road yet. They are General Grabber AT2's. Very happy with them so far.

I'd like to have some of those engine bay liners as well.
And why did you get the AT2's? Any noticeable difference between that and the T/A KO's you had?

Ok, I'll find out for you guys Thursday. I got the AT2's because the tread pattern is very similar to the T/A KO's but the price is cheaper. Had great reviews too. The rubber is a little softer on the AT2 so I think it grips the road a little more.
