That tailgate spoiler is beautiful... do you happen to know where you got it from?
It's a Roush spoiler from Hillbank Motorsports but they were discontinued years ago. I bought mine from Hillbank and they had three left in stock afterward. That was in 2016, they're long gone by now
We tracked the Ranger down and my wife purchased it for herself. We made a bunch of memories in the truck going to shows, traveling around, cruising with friends on Woodward. It's nice to have it back!
It has definitely taken some bumps and bruises since I sold it in November of 2017, but it's still rust free and solid. I did have to trailer it home as well.
The truck will change pretty significantly as she will make it her own. I'll bump the build thread as she makes some changes.
I sold it without a rear bumper as the roll pan actually fell off while driving through the outskirts of Detroit near Zug Island. Wicked pothole in the dark and I guess the roll pan had a bit of rust at the mounts where it bolted up. Guess the guy never bothered to put the bumper on that I sold him with the truck.
The truck did sit for quite a while in Oakland University's parking garage and accrued a ton of tickets but was eventually moved. I had some people watching it and I was hoping it would get impounded and go to auction.
I'm glad the spoiler is still there because I really think it made the truck and they are DUMB hard to find now.
Little update, I am now daily driving the truck and my wife is driving the 2015 F150.
Replaced clutch slave cylinder and then tore the front suspension completely apart and replaced everything. New DJM poly bushings for the beams, Moog upper and lower ball joints and Moog tie rod ends. Also lowered the front another inch and today I added a 2" block to the rear. Currently a 7/9 drop.
Easily put 2000 miles on it since I had the trans out and it's been wonderful.
Added full interior back into the Ranger. It was pretty dumb of me to rip it out all those years ago, but I was like 22 and wanted it to feel more track oriented. I cut the 60/40 seat to ditch the center section and my wife tucked the seat cover to make it look as factory as possible. Also used a shift boot from a 99-04 Mustang GT I pulled from a junk yard. Looks better with my Hurst than a stock Ranger shift boot would have.
Added another set of 2006+ tails and 3rd brake light along with LED bulbs, and a new roll pan.
My wife and I also took a vacation a few weeks ago to attend Slammedenuff Gatlinburg. We drove the Ranger from Detroit to Tennessee with a couple friends in their bagged cars. The truck did not skip a beat and averaged around 27 mpg running 75/80 mph all the way. On our last day, we decided to take the truck way out of our way and stop at Tail of the Dragon.
318 turns in 11 miles. Easily one of the coolest driving experiences I've had. Also got to meet a Tennessee state trooper at the bottom of the Dragon. He had a group of 10 or so cars and bikes pulled aside. I came down the final hill and saw him standing with a radar gun out. Clocked me at 51 in a 30, but wrote me for 5 over.
Very awesome Labor Day Weekend, put around 1400 miles on the Ranger. I'm now confident to drive it anywhere in the country.
Ooops lol fun tho. I'm jealous sounds like an awesome trip. I'm getting ready to sell my Camaro SS tomorrow and make a shit ton of money. Going to put some more money in my Ranger, maybe even V8 swap it already.
That's one sick nismo

I chopped a piece of my finger off at work last week and just had surgery on my hand earlier this week. I can't even drive the Ranger. Just been sitting.
That's good you're making money on the Camaro. I haven't touched my Mustang in a while.

Ouch damn! Hopefully it wasn't the middle finger.
Couldn't sell the Camaro, had an appointment and already told the dealer I would sell it to them. I couldn't do it I love it too much

The values on my Camaro have jumped a lot. I got a $20,000 offer from the dealership. Had an appointment and even showed up but during the few minutes I was waiting / walking around I said fuck it I couldn't do it. Was really only doing it to make some cash. This is the best car I've ever had and it might stick with me forever. I've almost got it paid off and I've never truly owned the car this modern or badass. Going to be an amazing feeling when it's actually mine
That sucks about your finger at least it wasn't worse.
