Default Black Beauty

I got my truck for my 16th birthday from my parents which costed them $4000. It has literally been a year and 2 days since I have had my truck and very little mods have been done, but I have replaced almost the entire front suspension and done normal maintenance like plugs and wires, oil changes and sea foam.

This thread will be a long time in the making and the main reason I made it is to get opinions on future upgrades and mods I should do.

This is when I got her

And gave we bath and compounded and waxed it for ours. The previous was not a great driver scratches everywhere and she killed the clutch by the time I got her.

The ball joints and shocks were basically gone and the driver side lower control arm was cracked so I replaced it all

I didn't take many pictures of that but after that I got new wheels and tires and this is the only pic.

Then I took my one wheel drive baby through my trails

I plan on getting a cat back exhaust next and would be happy to hear what y'all think and what y'all think I should do to her.

Looks good man! You ever thought about putting 2006 ford ranger mirrors on the truck? They look sick and are easy to install. Pic related is my 96 with them, I used to have the flagpole mirrors you have, and the visibility you get from 06 mirrors is so nice. I picked mine up from amazon for like 35 bucks.
Explorer seats are nice and direct bolt in, you can also throw an explorer center console in. Some people do the 60/40 mod and cut out the middle seat. I've done that as well.
You can also do some pretty cool stuff with plasti dip. If you don't know what that is, it's kind of like a peelable paint You spray is on and when you want to remove it it peels right off with no damage to the paint. But it wont fly off driving down the road.

60/40 mod before:

Good luck on the truck dude! Sorry for blowing up your thread with photos of my truck lol.

Yes I have actually looked into the 06 mirrors and have read how to do it and I think I should do it they look so much better. And I have read about the console but I drive a stick, it wouldn't work with that would it. And the seats I definitely want, where would I get them?

You could make a center console work with a stick. I've seen a lot of guys on here with them. Or you could get a short console? I would search craigslist, places like pull a part and LQK are great resources too. It also helps to have a friend with an explorer that's a bad driver

I might look into the console thing there isn't any space for anything now. My sister might be getting an explorer for her first car might have to see what I can take before she notices haha

I had plasti dip on my bumper for a while before I put real paint on it, it held up great but I didn't really do much off roading with it so I don't know how well that will work in that aspect

Alright. I might try it. There are some trails behind my house that I go through all the time, I have only gotten stuck once but anyways if I do plasti dip it I'll see how it holds up
