Haha ya man, not much of a lowered truck guy but that'd look good. V8 is a bonus.

Re: 1998 dakota (time to hoon)
so its an off topic update from the dakota but i figured some of you may enjoy it. since no one is seeming to want the ranger im starting to toss around the idea of building the ranger. i mean its a decent platform for the light offroading id do and it would be a good winter vehicle. the plan would be dana 35 ttb up front, 8.8 rear, 33's and steel rims, then lose the bed and build a flatbed. if i did end up keeping it and got into offroading more id swap in a 4.0l, the newer 5 speed trans and possibly sas

I like this idea minus the ranger winter beater part and the flatbed idea. And I'd still buy that thing so fast if you lived by me

Re: 1998 dakota (time to hoon)
put my sub in the other day, and today i ordered my 1/4" aluminum plenum plate from hughes so no more sluggish truck and 5 mpg lol pretty excited to enjoy driving the truck and not worrying about gas and low oil all the time

Re: 1998 dakota (time to hoon)
started tearing the truck apart today, got alternator and bracket off, everything unplugged, all but one coolant line off, throttle body, yada yada yada. tomorrow i hope to have the intake off and start cleaning everything up...with my luck it wont be so simple.
this is inside the intake, thats oil everywhere. which is why im taking the intake off
