I bought this today with a shitty Walmart 300 watt amp for 60 bux. It BARELY fits in the truck. I will be wiring it up on Friday night. I think it'll bump really nice in my small cab. If the amp sucks, I'll upgrade.

Got it installed, and did something a lil ballsy. I had that 60/40 split bench with no center console, and the bass tube was so large that it didn't allow the drivers seat to go back far enough for comfortable driving. So I cut the middle of the seat out. I was toying with placing the bass tube in between the seats like this.

After getting it all together I found that it was also uncomfortable, and I was asking for it to be stolen. I was stuck once again because of the empty speaker shells behind the seats. What I ended up doing is cutting part of the passenger side shell out to allow the bass tube so slide over and out of the way of my seat. All is comfortable now.

I wanted to buy a center console, and found one at Walmart. I brought it home, and gave it a test fit. Its a little too long, FML. I have to find a replacement that is 22inches long or less, 8 inches wide, and no more than 8 inches tall. Amazon has one that might work, but it doesn't have the best reviews.

This is the one I bought today that is too long. I really like it too. Its got a locking compartment which is nice. Too bad.

Here is the one that I was looking at earlier, but has bad reviews.

I installed my new center console today. They sent me black instead of grey, but it goes with my black headliner so that's okay. I was really surprised by the build quality of this console. Its made of wood, and the arm rest is really comfy.

The rear part of the storage section had this plastic cd holder in it, since I never use cd's, I took it out. I will probably add lining like the front half of the storage.

Are those buttons on the cupholder to allow the arms to swivel in/out to grip an odd sized cup?

Today I bought new seats for the truck. Cloth to replace the worn vinyl.

I also bought some used rain guards.

A second pair of studded tires made the trip as well. That makes a full set for this winter.

I just shampooed the seats and holy shit! What a difference. I couldn't believe how much dirt came out of the seats. The water was dark brown.

Seats are finally drying out after the shampoo. I soaked them in detergent, they needed it. These are SOOOO comfortable compared to the old vinyl seats that had NO support at all. Best upgrade so far.

Today I thoroughly cleaned the interior, polished the wheels, and painted bed liner right over the rusty bumper. I don't even care anymore, that bumper has been a pain in my ass! She's lookin pretty good for a 12 year old truck though.
