Today I reupholstered my headliner. Not because it needed it, but because I needed practice doing it. My car needs it done. Turns out its a pain in the ass and I will not do it to my car without help. Anyways here's how it turned not. Not perfect, but not horrible either.

Awesome job on the detailing, almost like it never ends. Had an old Chevy Cavalier with the headliner sag problem, couldn't get the repair to turn out right, wouldn't sag anymore but looked like crap.

Today I picked up some butyl tape to reseal the rear leaky window. When I took it off, I could tell right away where it was leaking from because of the dirt that flowed along with the water. It should be good to go now though. All in all, not a tough job to do. It took me about an hour total. I used a heatgun and a scraper to really clean the old seal off good.

old leaky seal

new seal

Cool, I've never been to that dealer. My dad bought the truck after I last saw him. I don't understand why they think someone would want giant decals with the dealer name on the truck. It seems all they did was put the decals on the truck anyways. That doesn't make it a "sport"

I know they do that to alot of vehicles, I had them remove the pinstripping on the pruchase date of both cars I bought, that had "sullivan" in the pinstripping..

Did your powerdome hood fit good? I would love one but see two issues. First would be color, Ive never seen a Ranger in my color. Second would be fitment obviously. It looks like the front of a powerdome is different than mine, but I could be wrong.

Those look like totally different wheels after you cleaned them. Good to see you got those decals off alright too, good luck with that one on the tailgate.

Today I bought 300lbs of tube sand and built a wooden frame so they stay right above the rear axle. I painted it black to hopefully make it last a bit longer. I'll take pictures when I actually put it in. Our weather has been great. Also, my Mazda6 is almost ready to hibernate, just need to wash it, put stabilizer in, and top the tank off.

I hate when dealers so that. The place that I bought my truck from put a pin stripe down the side of it. Luckily, it doesn't say the dealership name on it, but the cars they have now do. They also had their website plastered on the rear window, and a chrome sticker on the back denoting where the vehicle was purchased. I promptly removed both of them. Luckily, the came off easily. I'm leaving the pin stripe, but only because it's Red/black, which are IH colors.

Any time I buy a vehicle from a dealer, I make them take off anything with their logo unless they want to pay me for advertising.
