$20 shipped off eBay. Kinda pricey but I got it in two days and it was in perfect condition. Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Ranger-...item27e2da66af

Awesome man. I saw that listing the other day, I need one of those caps. They like to disappear.

Nice. They seem to like to come off real easy. I think it might be a good idea to epoxy them in.

Just installed a Weatherguard Saddle 154 toolbox. It is beautiful. Also retrofitted Whelen PAR32 LED fog lights. I will upload pictures of these new goodies shortly.

New Toolbox pictures:

Inside: Basic Hand Tools, Breaker Bar, 1/2 Drive Impact Sockets, Dewalt 20V Brushless Impact with (2) 4.0a batteries, 2 Dewalt Bit sets+socket adapters, Jumper Cables, 20' Tow Strap w/ Hooks, Ratchet Straps, Emergency Blanket, and 6 ton Bottle jack.

Any recommendations of other things that you think a college kid should have in his toolbox (mostly for emergencies)?

Recently, I installed a pair of Whelen PAR32. I work at Whelen Eng. Co. and I can attest to their quality. They use two TIR3 reflectors stacked on top of on another. They are the brightest LED fogs available. I know this because I test the light output of Whelen & the competition. A fellow Engineer and I replaced the red LEDs with brighter white LEDs to use as fogs (as we had no white fogs in stock). I then fabbed up an aluminum adapter to adapt from the factory Ford fog mounting holes to the Whelen PAR32 studs. I could not be happier with the outcome. And to make things better, I have driven 600 miles at night with them on so far and I haven't been flipped off/flashed once so I'm fairly confident I'm not blinding anyone. The fogs are designed to project downwards ever so slightly. Enjoy:

A high lifter jack is also a good idea.

Story time.
Sold this truck in 2017 after it had sat for 2 years in the parents driveway while I was at college. It sat because the transmission let go, and would not go into gear. The friend of mine had the ability to save the truck and installed a functioning junkyard transmission. He drove it for two years, blew up the rear end and installed a junkyard rear end. At the end of his 2 years, he sold it back to me, with a lot more rust than it had 4 years prior, but still running, driving and stopping.
Graduated college, bought a house two years later and now it is once again my daily driver as the price of used vehicles has skyrocketed.
