Devon's 08 Sport 4x4 Build

I purchased my first vehicle in April 2013. I ended up buying a 2008 Ford Ranger Sport 4x4, 4L, 5 speed, 3.73 gears with about 85000KM. It came with everything I wanted. Came with power locks, power windows, AUX input, tonneau cover and Alcoas!

Thing's I've done.
- Removed mud flaps
- Flowmaster exhaust system
- Kenwood DDX 470 head unit
- Kicker Comp S 10" sub
- Kicker 600.1 amp
- Torsion bars cranked 1"
- Poplock tailgate lock
- K&N cold air intake
- Headlight mod
- Antenna delete
- Nightshaded tails, corner, fogs, Ford emblems.
- Reversed Ranger emblems
- Pre Keys cranked
- 31x10.5 BFG AT's
- 1.5" Hubcentric wheel spacers
- Belltech 6400 shackles

Plans.
- 32" Tires
- Tinted windows
- Leather seats
- Black interior
- Class III hitch
- Retrofits

The day I brought her home.
When I first got my truck I really didn't do much too it other than try to keep it very clean. I just removed the mud flaps.

Then I signed up for this forum and my dreams just decided to go crazy. I've always loved louder vehicles. So I went ahead and got a Flowmaster put on. I had it custom bent and such coming out the back with a 4" tip.

At that time I was still working at McDonald's. I loved to show off my new ride and used it whenever I could. This was when we were unloading the truck, and really didn't feel like carrying any of the boxes.

Soon after my good friend Nathan (02FX4red) got a Ranger. He started modding pretty quickly and his truck started to look awesome! Go check his out!

Then it was Christmas and I got a prepaid mastercard for some new projectors off ebay. Right before I bought them I realized there was a huge boxing day sale over at Futureshop. Now I love my music loud, and with good quality. So I thought I better jump at the opportunity. I ended up purchasing a Kenwood DDX 470 head unit, Kicker Comp S 10" sub and a Kicker 600.1 amp. I then had it installed by a buddy and it sounds amazing. Love the feel of the double bass pedal! \m/ I just have a towel under the sub during the winter months so I don't get salt water all over the sub!

Then one morning right before I went to work I started my truck but had no pressure in my clutch! So off to the shop it went! I replaced the slave cylinder, master cylinder and the clutch. So hopefully I will be okay for a while!

Looking good, classic locks are nice, I have them on mine but painted them black and got the red rings

Then I got my hands on a K&N cold air intake. I honestly love it. Some people don't see the point in them, but so far I don't regret the purchase at all!

Then I was playing around with some plastic wiring covering and such lol.

And did the quick antenna delete and spray painted a little screw black to put in it.

Nice! That wasn't a massively heave load tho... I once had to drop off 25 cases of fries and 8 cases of smoothie mix, I was sitting on the bump stops, only had to go three kms to the other store tho!

This weekend just played around with some nightshade and spray paint! I actually like the end result, besides the Ford emblem. Gonna be pulling it apart to redo it. Thoughts?

nightshaded my corners and fogs one coat and did the headlight mod this weekend!!

Might want to get them ASAP then....Mickey Thompson doesn't show them on their website any longer.

I'm sure you could still find some at stores (JEGS or Summit perhaps) - but it sounds like they are discontinued - so it's a matter of time.

yah thats what im hearing from alot of people! just torn between those and the classic III's. opinions?
