Went for a drive today. Noticed a clicking when I got back from the transfer case, shifted just fine but still a tick. Going to have to check that out. I kind of remember hearing something weird when wheeling last month but it went away so who knows. I'll figure it out one day when I feel like digging into it.
Pic for the time being.

Lol. That is used quite a bit.
It might just be low on fluid and it develops after the transfer case gets hot.

I think I figured it out. Little bit of play in the front driveshaft where it connects to the the transfer case. Those threads were exposed and had rusted up in the tulip and the bolts from the superlift shaft are longer so it was a pain to work thru that rust. I thought I had worked them tight enough but some play developed after using it a bit. I'm going to have to go buy some metric taps so I can clean them out cause I didn't have the right one I needed when I first put it on.
Wish I would have noticed when the transfer case was out cause it would have been a lot easier to do it out of the truck.

Re: Camodown's Build
You could pull it out and do it again. It's not a daily driver or anything.

Re: Camodown's Build
Yea, it's just a measly 1354. Could be worse, like a 205.
----------
But seriously, tulip joints suck. Swap in an older 1354 and send your Level II case to me. I just want 2Low.

Well sure I "could". Just don't want to.

I thought it was knocking from inside the case. Was going to be pissed if I only got 300 miles out of it before I had to rebuild it or find another.
You are just going to have to suck it up and spend some cash on one I guess.

I let some time pass before taking it.
Thinking of positives, cleaning out the other threads with the right tap worked great
