For the price of spacers, you'll have 4 new steel wheels......that fit good in the fenders. Plus, who likes stock wheels anyway?
Well yeah I wish when I bought the truck the kid I bought it off of had the Alcoa's but thats how I managed to get the price down so much.

I'm currently uploading a video to YouTube of how the flowmaster sounds.

Until it is done here are some pictures of the welds, muffler and tip.

I love it, soon as the engine turns over this rumble ensues, with a deep, fresh tone. Sounds beefy and I put 150kms on my truck yesterday, turned heads everywhere I went.

Also, where can I order 06+ Mirror and are they a PITA/female dog to mount/install?...

I really like the look of the 06 mirrors they make the truck look bigger.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

do you want to keep them power?? i bought a cheap manual set (black textured) off ebay for like $44. money well spent. it was a super easy install too, very little modification to the mirror itself and that is all. look up the how-to for all the specifics!! i'm a big sucker for the stock alcoa's. would really like a DSG set but my machined finish ones are just fine

Where abouts do you live?

I'm in Edmonton Alberta and shipping would probably cost a fortune.

Not really sure how that's a response to my suggestion of just doing new wheels. Heck the guy with spacers in this thread mentioned he's getting new wheels and ditching spacers.

Here's an example of a cheap set up...my truck back in the day: 32x11.50's on $50 15x8 D-windows under a slight torsion crank.

RockAuto, Kool-Vue, eBay... There's a few options and every aftermarket 06+ mirror I've encountered (8 of them) are OE Ford quality. None of the mirror wiggle or vibrate like the older style aftermarket replacements.

The aftermarket ones I've installed with mirror caps came with both a paintable black cap AND a chrome cap. So you can pick and choose.

Wiring is really easy. Alot of folks skip the first step of the swap : remove the old mirror properly. This involves an extra step of removing the speaker and unclipping the mirror electrical connection inside the door....then remove the mirror and wiring from the door. Cut the wire right at the mirror. Cut the new mirror's plug off, solder the old mirrors wiring to the new mirror's wiring, route the wiring down the door, mount new mirror, attach the connector, done. When you've got both mirrors next to each other, it'll be really obvious why this has to happen.

There's a how-to and a few threads that talk about the install of the mirror itself. Not much available in the wiring department. At least doing it properly, cleanly, and stock-like way.

So the mirrors are a exact OEM replacement? No cheap stuff? I would really like chrome capped ones to go with my front bumper, I think that would look the best.

I really like that look, but I'm thinking with these wheels. http://tires.canadiantire.ca/en/whee...-lip/0349312/#

I think they'd look really good on mine with BFG AT's.

I am also wondering what exact size I would need, I want my tires to stick out a good couple of inches for ultra wide stance...

They're OE replacements and the quality of them are as good as the OEM. I thought chrome caps would look good on mine...til I did it. Too much chrome right there and looked out of place to me. Might be different to your preferences and tastes. Might be better flow with chrome door handles.

Yeah...the black wheel w/ machined face is definitely a good look on a dark truck. I'm not a fan of wheel lettering, so I went the Eagle 185 route on mine.

I don't know what size your BFG's are or if they're even 15". I don't suggest 15x10's on a non-lifted truck. 15x8 with the normal backspace will be approx 2" wider per side compared to your stock wheels. 10's will be approx 4" wider. I don't like the idea of 31x10.50's on 15x10's, but that's the one way I picture 10's fitting and clearing flares, valence, inner fender under a non-lifted truck.

And hey man, just wanted to note that I'm not trying to hijack your thread. Only answering your questions within it.

Clearly you know allot more than me about it. So ill let you tell me what size to buy.
