Default 93 ranger build... lots to do over a long time haha

Ok, so i just got a 8.8 explorer axle. Its a 31 spline instead of a 28 and has disc brakes! i just tore the breaks apart, got the rotors turned(really good shape) and new calipers. Goin to get get em powdercoated tomorrow, RED! haha, want em to match the SJ kit when i get it on. Just waiting to get the money to order some new leaf perches, shock mounts, and u-bolts. then swap the leaf perches and get the axle powdercoated black. i'm also getting a new dif cover(3/8" thick steel) to keep it from getting punched through. Planning on getting most everything powdercoated as it comes out, or before it goes back in... don't want it rusting as it will be in contact with LOTS OF MUD!

But here's the plan, 8" SJ lift, 35" tires, gears 4.88, and lockers... hopefully get the front axle pulled and powdercoated too with calipers and rotors also done red, and a manual t-case. I've already done a solid driveline swap. I've also put a sound system in, and CB radio with dual antennas.

I'll get pics up tomorrow hopefully.

haha i know... and yeah i do have a welder its just easier to buy new perches cause of the difficulty in removing the perches and keeping them in still usable condition. I just gotta be careful to not warp the tubes when i weld the new perches on, but i've gotta get the degree set first before i set the perches to. thats gonna be the biggie cause i wanna get the degree set for the 8" lift, but that won't happen till prolly december and i don't wanna wait that long to get the axle underneath my truck

yeah i'm goin to take some right now... i just ran into A LOT of trouble on the front end of my truck. broke a lift bracket and found a hole in my front dif housing. But i posted that thread up somewhere haha... i'm goin to get pics right now, still waiting on the rotors though. I'll post some up of us taking the lift off to. it shouldn't be too bad i don't think, the kit re-used all the brackets minus one(the one i broke) and i have the old one still so anyone wanna buy a steering stabilizer? haha

ok guys, just kind of a update... been gathering parts and been in school BUT

i'm planning on putting a SJ 6" lift and 3" PA body lift on in december. got a front pumpkin w/ 4.56 gears and locker, 35" tires on the way, just waiting to see about money for gears(like $300) and installation(another 250 ish). i'll be posting up some pics, i'm figuring my truck will be sitting about 8" higher than now, and about 14" above a stock ranger. I'll be putting custom built dual shock hoops up front, and am building a new bumper for the front as well! can't wait to get home and start ripping it apart...

all i'm waiting on is the gears! Finally after a year of getting parts haha
