And dani I agree with others...if you're that broke now that you couldn't even afford food or tires, you should have been smart enough not to spend so much on something so unnecessary. And as far as "who knew how much gas would cost", it's simple math....I figure that into any trip I take before I go....

So please take your problems private
I had the money for the lift from selling my Fiero back in February. We made the drive out there, cash in hand. And its hard to do math when the mileage of a vehicle is hard to calculate. The Focus did horrible with PA's hills. Who knew it would guzzle gas because it struggled with the hills. Gas was more expensive out there. As soon as we got back, a lot of shit hit us at once and we still have not dug ourselves out. I had to take my dog to the vet because he got into aspirin. That was a $250 bill right there. My truck needed a new wheel bearing, that was $170. And I needed tires because one was about to blow. So I put it on a credit card to make payments on. Its not like I had the cash to just throw down on tires. I was in a jam, like I always am.

Own up? For Christ sake, I'm not trying to hide from it. I'm doing the best I can. I'm trying to sell shit that I don't need. Anyone want a fucking body kit for a Fiero? Or a black tool box for a Ranger or S10? Let me fucking know! Fuck.

As far as the lift being fucked, I bought it used (as you know) I didn't try to install it. Had I known that it was, I wouldn't have sold it, at least until I could figure out what was wrong with it.
I did message you. Plenty of times, letting you know you would get it as soon as I did. I either just got an "ok" or nothing at all from you. I sent you a message last month. I am trying the best I can. I keep picking up as many hours I can without going into overtime.

We had to do a lot of modding to make it work. Ryan told me not to even pay you the $200 because all the work we had to do. Some of the bolts wouldn't even go in because there was paint on the threads. But I told him I keep my word and I will still pay you.

You're the only one close enough to buy it.

I'm not sure that I understand why you would buy a lift when you are that tight on money.

Oh well, good luck.

I got no message last month. Last one I got was on March 11th. And what were you expecting me to say other than " ok "... would you have preferred " damn right you better have my money " or something like that? I received 2 texts from you and 1 text from Ryan since you guys were here.

And what part of used didn't he understand? and why would you even want to reuse the old bolts?

If he was that butt hurt about it, he could have brought it back. I would have given you your money.

We weren't tight on money until after we got back from the trip... ? I've said that quite a few times.

I sent it to you. Ryan also told me he texted you about mid April, letting you know we're working on it and we weren't blowing you off. And I don't care, "damn right you better have my money" would have been fine with me.

And we know it was USED. But not fucking welded to make it narrow. And we didn't reuse the old bolts... the threads in the actual lift itself were covered in paint so the new bolts didn't even go in.

If we don't have the $200, how would we have the $600 in gas to bring it back? Doesn't make sense to me. So far I have been able to save up $100 for you. Soon as I get that other $100, it'll be on its way to you.

If he sent me a text mid April, it would still be on my phone. My phone automatically deletes texts after a month. But whatever, as long as the money makes it way here, thats all I'll care about. Just as long as you guys are aware that i didn't forget.

I apologize for posting a thread about it, but theres quite a few other people on here that would've posted this A LOT sooner.

Why didn't you keep the money for the lift in the bank as an emergency fund ? Loading up your credit card is only going to get you in more trouble

It wouldn't surprise me if he told me he did, and then ended up not doing it. But as you said, whatever. You'll get it. And I know you didn't forget it, if I was you, I know damn well I'd never forget it. $200 is a lot to forget.

Like I said, I wish you would have just messaged me on here, because for some reason I don't get a lot of messages on Facebook. Or if I do, it never shows up until I go through my messages. But it's over with. You'll get it.

That's a good question. Thankfully I only have my tires to pay off now as far as bills go. I'm young and still make stupid mistakes that I always learn the hard way from.

Then stupidity is then. It isn't hard to calculate gas mileage. You could have at least overestimated the miles and underestimated your average MPG.

Nevertheless, if the gas and lift kit is what made you guys tight on money, then you couldn't afford it in the first place
