Hey guys,

I just wanted to warn everyone that there's a con-artist that goes by the S/N Encoded on here.
I paid him $50 for some trim peices that go to a
2007 Mazda B-4000 gauge cluster on September 7th and I still haven't recieved them.
The first BS excuse was that he went on a fishing trip, then the 2nd BS excuse was that he sent my item to the wrong address and that he would be shipping my items UPS express and that was on the
19th.
Basically all he done was create a UPS shipping label at UPS.com and then sent me a UPS tracking # to buy some more time.
Tried e-mailing him at his PP address and he hasn't responded.
I've offically been robbed by a FRF member in Canada and I've filed a PayPal dispute.
Hopefully PayPal will give me a refund and then go after this loser.

PayPal is good honestly you will get your $$ back! I have has a similar situation happen and got fully refunded but it just takes some time. Glad to know that he is on blast now and people can call him out on it!

PP should have your back on getting a refund though.

Don't blame Canada though, I've had deals with a few guys across the border & they've been good guys.

It sounds like PayPal has a pretty good system for fraud and it seems like I'll get a refund.
I just want to clear one thing up, I don't have anything at all against Canadians.
This thief could have robbed me anywhere.

but, if he did just resend it on the 19th you wont even have a chance at seeing it till about 2 weeks later. just fyi. things shipping across borders take 2 weeks ive found as an average.

I too think this thread is a bit early for a transaction that was over the boarder.

this. i think you might be jumping the gun a little bit. if he sent it to the wrong address itd take a while for him to get the box back and reship. and shit happens.. i had a few things to ship and didnt because family stuff came up and that trumps forum deals for me for the time being. hopefully this can be resolved without hostility. meaning tone down the scammer/con artist, and loser talk. shit happens.

Damn, talk about rubbing salt in the wound ... I'm not jumping the gun at all and you obviously didn't read my thread. He got my package back before the 19th. The only way he knew that he sent it to the wrong person was because he the package was returned to him (so he says)
I also said that he created a UPS shipping label at UPS.com and never shipped the package out.

I had an issue with the same member (encoded). I'm sure it's been seen on another thread. I received an item that wasn't as described. I sent a pm and he apologized. I was willing to pay for shipping on both ends to get my item back. I take that back. I sent about 4 pm's asking the same question. Each and every one of them were read and he did not send one single response. Not even a "no." His selling/communication skills are wack to say the least.

And I should add that it took no longer than a week to receive the traded item from Canada. And vice versa.
