Default Solid Differential Cover WARNING!!!

Hey guys I have had some real head aches with changing my rear differential fluid. First off the fill plug is stuck and I cant get it off. But thats not really a problem. I wanted to warn you guys about a 8.8 differential cover that I ordered. Here is a link where I ordered it from http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...er-p-2678.html I ordered a Solid Axle Ind. Differential cover with a fill hole since mine is stuck. Well I installed it and noticed after adding the fluid that it is leaking like a water fall. Well I backed my truck up on the ramps so I could get a good look. After taking the cover off I noticed that my ring was rubbing the cover. It cut a pretty good groove in it. Well I called the place I ordered it from and they said thats the 2nd ranger with the same problem. So now I am waiting on the company that makes them to call me back. The part looks like its good quality and very heavy, it just wasnt machined deep enuf. I guess you get what you pay for since it was only 65 bucks. Well I just ordered this one http://www.yourcovers.com/diffcover_9519.php and watched the video and it looks deep enuf for the rings. I know if it would have sealed properly and I drove it with the ring digging in like that my rear end wouldnt last long and someone would be paying for a new one lol. Any ways just thought I would warn you guys from making the mistake like I did.

I have the same cover on my ranger (granted I bought this about 2-3 years ago) and I havent had any problems....you do realize SOLID axle industries is no longer in business dont you? They had major problems with some of their stuff and I guess you got the blunt end of it. Their newest stuff is the stuff you've gotta watch for (due to the fact that I dont know who bought out solid axle industries) Hell for all I know it was Kia or Chevy
