Default Don't order parts from parts geek

Horrible service. Order was never delivered, can only talk thru email and have to wait 24 hours to ever hear back from them. They blame they distributing company and delivery company instead of taking responsibility. According to the BBB has 246 complaints against them 41 are delivery issues, 159 are refund exchange problems. Seems the only way you will get your part you ordered is to report them to the BBB. Which I did! Company is horrible never waited a month to recieve anything and it still has not arrived. Don't order thru them!!!!!! Or else you could be dealing with these issues as am I.

Have ordered through then many of times my self and never a problem. You dont have to contact them only through e-mail either. There is a 800 number you can use to call.

My 1st post here, Guess I should have read this last week. I ordered a left front fender liner splash shield from them. It came today, and doesn't fit. Can anyone with an 06 FX4 4.0 ext cab verify that a splash shield goes there, above the shock mount? Fender liner has holes there to mount, Ford dealer says no part exists for drivers side. Parts geek shows it, looked like the right shape, but arrived and is only 2/3 the size I think it should be. It is a rubber flap type piece that keeps mud, salt spray, etc. from getting into the engine compartment and protect brake lines that are there above and inboard of the shock upper mount. Pics will help if you can show yours. Sorry for the HiJack. Partsgeek isn't my friend today, waiting to hear their response.

I thought the same thing when i compared the driver side to passenger side fender, a Ford tech I know says that they removed that section to keep the motor from overheating, so it'd be best to leave it out. Then again not all Ford techs are right.

I went to the dealer parts counter first, he looked for it and told me there isn't a part for it in his system. You are probably correct, was there at one time, then Ford removed it from production, and when stock depleted, no longer exists. I wonder if any older trucks have them from factory? Hmm. Thanx for the reply.

Does it look like the picture you saw on their website? I would say if it does then you got what was advertised how is that Parts Geek's fault?

My 08 had none on the driver side either. Ford told me they were discontinued and it was to provide additional cooling. I ordered one for the right side flipped it around and put it on and my truck did not run hotter nor did I have any problems after 3 years of it being installed.

They are fine until a problem comes up. Very frustrating to deal with.
