hey guys i am just sending out a warning about a user that has now screwed me out of 40 bucks, and cause a lot of grief to me.

over x-mas break i sold a stock deck to a member on here who gave me the wrong address via paypal, it was returned to sender due to the wrong address. he then proceeded to harass me and threaten me via paypal and PMs on this site. he has now screwed me over due to paypal and some things i still need to talk to them about. his name is bigharv, he is a liar and a thief he should not be trusted.

due to his inability to keep his stuff organized and up to date this whole chain of events has happened, and now i have had to spend the last 2 months dealing with a person who became childish and very unreasonable, i offered to reship it for free, but he would not accept anything less than a full refund after i paid almost 20 dollars to ship it to him. i know its only 40 dollars but i think the fact that after trying to help him out and be friendly and what not is the reason im fighting this.

anyone on this website who has done business with me knows i am a strait shooter and a very reasonable guy, i admit when i a m wrong and i dont want to hurt or screw over anyone, but dealing with this has been one major pain in the ass.

any suggestions would be greatly appretiated, also anyone that knows him i would like to get in contact with him by other means other than PM so let me know.

That sucks ben, but it comes with the territory sometimes selling things. I hope you get it straightened out, I can vouch for you from past dealings. If you need a middle man for this let me know I'll help you out

sorry stl, i was frustrated and just posted it without looking very hard as to where it should have gone.

UPDATE: i am filing a claim in small claims court in 10 days after the letter i sent him goes through. i would rather pay the 30 dollars to file then let him get away with this.

thanks clinton. i tried dealing with paypal and they just keep threatening to send the negative balance to claims court. i will be talking to my bank as well to see if there is anything i can do to block this from happening. i sent him a legal letter warning of the dispute and letting him know about the claims court stuff. if he doesnt respond im filing.

he said go ahead and take him to small claims court, so i need to figure out if i can do that, or if i should pursue another venue. anyone have any experience with this sort of thing?

Here in Oregon small claims court is pretty costly in time and money.
You have to swear that you made a sincere effort to collect the debt b4 filing.
There is a filing fee.
Papers have to be served.
You'll miss time from the job.
You have to prove with facts and evidence what happened.
Stories and emotional pleas will be frowned upon.

But you can go to.......

Judge Judy!!!!
A guy I know did. He and his wife got flown to New York for 2 days stay at a nice hotel and also got $500 spending money!
He lost his case and it didn't air.
