Re: Ultra-Gauge Support/Ordering Thread
Another bump because I need to get one too! An updated model sure sounds good to me.

Re: Ultra-Gauge Support/Ordering Thread
I'd be interested in one of these as well. Any news on when they are gonna be back in stock?

Re: Ultra-Gauge Support/Ordering Thread
Just got mine yesterday and I have 98 Ranger.
No MPG yet because I assume I have to do a MPG config first and then to a distance one because it keeps telling me I have no mileage in the unit.
Also anyone have issues with the UG not turning on at times? I'll go to start it and it wont be on so I turn the key off and try again and it works. I do that a couple of times to get it on and IDK if it's the remote start system I wired it. The Unit doesn't seem to be loose so IDK...

Before you do a calibration, run a couple of tankfulls first and see how close you get to what the gauge posts. I found that it didn't require calibration on my 2000 Ranger with 2.5L engine. And yes, I found that my Ultragauge wouldn't turn on the first turn of the key. I'm not sure why that is, but what I would do is turn the key to the auxiliery position without starting the truck, leave it there until the ding, ding, dinging stopped (7 dings), turn the key off, then back on and start the truck. I also notice that it has a delayed start on my Accord, so it seems to be in the design and not an outright defect.

Re: Ultra-Gauge Support/Ordering Thread
Yup. Hopefully I'll be getting one this spring/summer! I've been watching this thing since day one.

Re: Ultra-Gauge Support/Ordering Thread
With the gauge, I've been able to improve my driving behavior/style enough to improve MPGs/fuel efficiency by about 10% in my Ranger and my Accord. I suspect that most folks would see the same. For me, that equates to about $6 every two weeks. So for me, the spend on the Ultraguage will be returned in savings in about 6 months. Those with longer commutes than mine (34 miles round trip) should be able to recoup the cost of the gauge in less time, and of course, if you beat the 10% figure, sooner yet.
Good luck folks!!
