Re: Sylvaynia Silverstar Ultra Headlight review
I used to run Silverstars, and I hated them. Sure, they looked nice, until they blew. I found myself replacing them every couple of months. I've had a set of PIAA bulbs in my car for over 2 years now with no issues. HID's are waiting to go in.

Re: Sylvaynia Silverstar Ultra Headlight review
I bought them used, and they've been in my car for 2 years. They have lasted 8x as long as any silverstar bulb I have ever owned.

Re: Sylvaynia Silverstar Ultra Headlight review
i hope so, those PIAAs are stupidly overpriced. all im saying is that both the silverstars and piaa xtremewhites are littered with reviews by ppl saying they burnt out after less than a year

But that's just my two cents and a lot of people can agree with me and others will not. But I'm not here to argue or anything I just wanted to point that out since I sell them . Those lights do look bright for being low beam. I think they look real nice and crisp. And with that price you said, you can't beat that at all! Now picture of high beams would be nice lol and you should do a comparison of beams on a wall as well.

I love my HID's. I got mine from 99offroading. They are 6000k low beams. I would have gotten 10,000k hi/low beams but money is tight and they were cheap. No complaints they are plenty bright and I adjusted them a little high since they are only low beams.

Yes they are brighter and there is ko arguing that. But dont like them behind me and someone behind me with HIDs without projectors pisses me the eff off. So i choose not to do it to others. I like the silverstars because they look nice and whit ithout nlinding the piss out of people

I bought and installed set of Silverstar Ultras in my daily driver back in 2005.
In 2008, I bought a different daily driver and switched them over to that car.
At the time I traded that car in on this Ranger last June, none of them had failed.
So, I got 6 years of service out of them.
And yes, I did drive at night.
