Default Beware of Rogue Performance

I wasn't sure where to put this thread, as it isn't only applicable to my 4.0, but to anyone looking to buy tunes.

I bought 3 tunes from Fred at Rogue Performance in mid February and supplied him with my information. He did not recognize my strategy code, so I supplied him with my PCM code on March 3rd.

He sent a test file with an incorrect SCT serial number, to which I notified him that it was the incorrect serial number. It has been a month since then, and I have sent multiple emails without a single response of any sort. I cannot do a regular Paypal dispute, as I am beyond the 30 day limit. I do plan on contacting Paypal to see if there is anything they will do.

I separately purchased one tune from Don at Lasota Racing. He has been awesome. He typically replies back within the same day. He is more expensive, but has excellent communication and also offers 90 days of email datalogging support and tuning adjustments.

For those looking to purchase tunes I highly recommend Lasota Racing both because of their excellent work, but also because of the terrible service with Rogue Performance. I cannot even comment on Rogue's tuning, because I have not received any tunes.

That sucks man....I used Fred probably 8-9 years ago, and he was slow to respond even back then.

Heard it hasn't gotten better.

Then when I added my 35's & 4.88's I sent Fred numerous emails seeing if I could purchase a new tune for my setup & never heard back - luckily, I never sent him money for the tunes. It was just 'exploratory' type emails.

So after all that - I moved onto Don LaSota as well.

Don's awesome - I had him write my base supercharger tune as well. Made for a good starting point for my dyno tuning session.

FYI - There is a product/company/member review section on the forum: http://www.fordrangerforum.com/produ...ember-reviews/

The mods might move it.

Yeah I saw some of your reviews when I was researching before buying tunes.

Hopefully getting the word out will help, so that other members don't lose their money.
