Lowering Kit Help

I have a 2005 ranger 2wd xlt and im trying to find a 2-3 inch lowering kit for it. I have looked all over google and i cant find one for that year. It seems like the last year is a 2002. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

98+ kit's will work as long as your truck is Coil sprung

like mclovin said 98-up will work... i have a pair of DJM front coils in the shed... i say go that route, and hanger flip, and call it good... thats what i did on my 01

That's a 2-3 inch lowering kit that you put on your 01. I might go with a 3-4 then cause I just want something that will look clean. My truck is stock except for a grill and headlights. But I plan on getting some 19" rims to put on it when I get more money. But thanks for the help you guys!

that is a 2/2 drop... DJM springs, and a shackle flip... i don't think they make a 3/4 for the newer ranger, they make a 4/5. thats what i have on my 2006

4/5 envolves the rear axle flil, replacing the upper, and lower control arms, springs, and sway bar end links

Re: Lowering Kit Help

Go 4/5 and I would go with 18's so you'll still have some comfort with sidewall

Ok thanks for the help. I'm new to modifying vehicles. So I'm just going by this forum and a few others and seeing what I like and going from there. Also some friends that modify cars. Thanks again!

All the 98- current rangers have the same suspension. Check out my vendor forums on here for a list of direct lowering part links to my web site illusivefabrications.com

Hey Ski69 I have a DJM 2/3 kit that was used only three days that will fit your Ranger, my 08 xlt had problems so I traded it for a new ranger sport, I do not need the kit anymore.
