The last 2 are a PITA.

Take off the wheels and and inner fender wheels and reach up to the engine. After which, you will begin cursing as your hand gets jammed and cutup in the tight corridors, you will need to use your mental strength to shrink your hand and continue trying to loosen the plugs while your hand is being destroyed by everything around it. Good luck.

Like they have said, take the tire off, rip off the rubber inner fender skirt and jam your hand up in there. Its a PITA and wearing those "mechanix" type of gloves REALLY helps though.

i took the entire plastic inner fender out, not just the rubber splash gaurd. its kind of a pain but it makes getting to the rear plugs much easier.

Soon to be a thread reading "For Sale: Ranger, white, won't run, missing R rear spark plug." I'm gonna jump all over that deal.

HUGE TIP!! Take your time and make sure you don't cross thread the plugs. IF you can't run them in by hand the first couple of turns you may be cross threading them. ALSO... you may want to dab a little never seize on the threads of the plugs.
Getting to the plugs through the fender wells is the way to go. I just did my plugs and the P.O. had cross threaded the #6 plug so I had to install a heli coil insert in that hole.... very EZ to do through the fender well.
