3.0L exhaust advice needed
 

I have a 94 with a 3.0 in it and I need a new front y pipe. I actually need a complete exhaust system. The y pipe is no longer available from the research I've done. What are my options? Will a y pipe from a 4.0 work? I'm not looking for any power gains. I'm just looking for something that's quiet, works, and is fairly inexpensive. Thanks, Eric.

I have the answer for you. No the 4.0 will not fit. I have a 94 that had a 4.0 and I put a 3.0 in it. I found a second hand one from a Mazda b3000. The one I got was out of a 93. I also had to get a new cat. the walker brand non California was $300.00 and the magna flow was $225.00. I went with the walker and to install it I had to cut 1.5" off the Y pipe at the flang for the cat to fit. Now I have a question for you. on the back of your engine, drivers side there is a black connector with 2 wires one wire is orange and the other is brown or black. Looks like a O2 sensor connector but it's not. Can you tell me what it is

Order a full exhaust for your year/model/engine from any of the after market companies.
