Electric Fan Selectin

I had installed an electric fan on my '03 FX4 while i was in Colorado. I moved to El Paso, TX where the summer temps are considerably higher. The fan i had quickly proved to be insufficient and i had to switch back to the clutch fan. Does anyone know a good single, or dual setup that will keepthe 4.0 cool in some extreme heat (90F-120F) and serious hard driving (wheeling in the sand dunes). thanks.

i think i'd invest in a larger radiator (more rows in the core) first. then put on the fan that moves the most cfm that will fit if you really want to go electric.

I live down in Victoria, Tx. Gets just as hot here. I'm using a fan out of an early model taurus. It works really well, have had it for about 2 years now. I read somewhere that it flows about 3,000 cfm. It does draw a lot of amps though. It took me awhile to get the wire size right (keep melting the wires lol.) but once I got the wiring fixed it works great. Like I said, it does draw some amps. It will dim my headlights at night, at idle only. I'm gonna be replacing my radiator this weekend and will do a write up on the radiator and fan, for the how to section.
