Plastidip them

I used gloss black rustoleum.
I jacked the truck up and did two wheels at a time. Cleaned them super good. Two coats of primer. Three coats of paint. I didn't do a clear coat, so far haven't had any chipping.

Alright cool. Everyone is telling me it will chip but I don't think so. How hard was it to spray paint your front and rear bumper?

Maybe it's harder for you giants fans, but for me it wasn't any harder than painting rims. Which I didn't need to make a thread asking how, since I'm not an SF fan...

Not too hard at all. I used flat black rustoleum for that. Most people suggest you take the bumpers off when you paint them, but I just masked off everything around the bumpers and went at it with a rattle can. As long as you clean them before hand and let them dry really well before you drive anywhere it shouldn't chip either.

x2 on plasti dip, its A LOT easier, and you can take it off whenever you want. Plus to clean them, all you do is spray water on the rims, just make sure you cover your brakes and rotors etc on which ever choice you choose.

Powder coat those bitches! It will last longer and it is less likely chip off.

I've only got the one jack in the back seat so im just gonna take one tire off at a time and do it that way. How much does the plastidip cost?

Plasti Dip is about 6 bucks a can at home depot or lowes, its usually on the spray paint isle but a little before all the spray paint, just have to look for it carefully. You'll need about 3-4 cans if you want to do it correctly. Look up videos how to do it right by DipYourCar or something like that on youtube, there is a full channel dediciated to it.

I used bed liner on mine. I didn't want to take each wheel off the truck so I used the brush on bed liner. Came out good and has been going strong for awhile. Plastidip is always a good choice since it can be removed. Since my rims were in crappy shape I didn't think I'd need to remove it at any point ha.
