31 inch tires on my 15 inch rims?

I have a 1999 ford ranger xlt 4x4 and I have the stock 15 inch rims on it but I was wondering if I would need to get different rims to fir 31 inch tires on the stock rims?

People are going to give you shit cause they're gonna think you didn't search the threads (since there's about a million with this question)

So I'll be the nice guy. Short answer: yes, you'll be ok with stock rims.

I don't believe he was saying 'nope' to your response - but was actually answering the OP's original question.

The OP's question was whether he would need new rims...DJ answered 'nope'. Meaning - the wheels would work fine.
