More details please.... depending on that the topic is a lot of things span diff. generations.

like a different subforums for the 83-87 (1st gen), 89-92 (2nd gen)...so on and so forth, so say i have issues with something in my 83 model (something specific to the first gen say like my four speed stick) i could post it in there so people with expertise on the 1st gens could help me out

That is not a bad Idea. IT would make searching for specific info on your rig much easier

It would work, but there's ALOT of the same stuff being covered in different gen categories. Another Ranger Forum site is like this(i believe) and it really kinda gets repetative. Mostly because if it'll work on a Gen2, it'll work on a Gen3(suspension for example). Same with alot of other parts, like taillights, transmissions, suspensions, body panels, etc...blahblah. Alot of these trucks are almost the same save for little differences here and there. It's a neat idea. I just don't see it being very helpful when you can just make a thread in the drivetrain category, for example, then in your sig we'll know what you got and in the post we'll see your problems or whatever, and help if we can. Makes for alot cleaner looking site. I think it works better that way.
