Thermostat
 
Was wondering where the thermostat is located and if it is very hard to change? Need to get it done tommorow

is this a 2.3 lima (older engine), or 2.3 duratec? or rather, what year is your truck? the duratec is what they put in 2001 and up.

i'm guessing it's on the top/front of the engine in a housing that meets to the block, and has the top radiator hose going out to the radiator.

i've heard of some people having to go lower, near the water pump to get to theirs on 4 cylinders, but i don't know

free bump anyways :)

To find the duratec tstat, it's what the lower radiator hose attaches to. $100+ part.

Ya it was on the lower house.150 bucks because it's comes as one whole unit
