told you STL was the man for the knowledge! lol and my 2.3 gets like 580 miles on 17 gallons with the flows. but it wasn't that good when i had a stock muffler dont remember just what it was but it wasn't like now

Edge is a mid-level truck....above XL and below XLT. Alot of the XL gets carried into the Edge like it's vinyl floor and the very basic door panels. Major difference is color matched body accessories like bumpers and fender flares. All Edges got 4x4 grille, hood, bumper as well as front suspension(2wd's included) while all other 2wd models have the coil-springs. Edge models are very similar to the Toyota Tacoma PreRunner trucks....4x4 suspension but 2wd. Which makes these trucks the WRONG truck to lower.

I drive my truck pretty darn conseratively and the best I've gotten is like 24.5mpg. I don't even know what the hell a air box mod is, but do you have to have a manual transmission to get the flowmaster exhaust. (I'm a complete newb when it's comes to this kinda stuff, especially trucks :stupido2:)

So basically on the ABM you are just removing the snorkel to get better air flow? I think I could manage to do that without breaking anything.

I went to the Flowmaster website and tried to find a muffler and exhaust kit for a 2007 ranger but didn't see any? Would I just use the exhaust kits/mufflers for older model rangers? Or maybe the ones that are supposed to go on the focus (since they have almost identical engines, from what I've read atleast)?

thx for the halp.

all i did was cut out stock muff and replace with flow masters 40. weld it back in you do need a piece of 2.5" to make a step up and step down for the stock pipe, a welder and some paint ( hi temp for the welds wont rust) and you ll be done in no time
