Dark font on a dark background = fail. I edited out your font changes so people can actually read it.
"quick pls give input" = useless title, I assure you that if you want input, and if you want it quick, a good title would help. Edited that to add info also. Regarding your question, I would only do it if you're going to lift your truck soon. That bumper on a stock suspension would look weird IMHO. |
yea tom im not gettin a lift anytime soon.... can afford that huge price tag for a sl... and it would work with a bl unless i fab it
|
If you are not going to lift anytime soon, I would look at the lightbar that fabtech I think makes. That is a lot of bumper and I just don't think it would look totally right on a stock height Ranger...but I would really need to see it on a stock height to give my complete opinion.

Yea leave it unless your raising it bud

so looking at the pictures, there is no fiberglass fenders or lift on the donor picture with the bumper. it would essentially look the same on your truck. i like the cleanliness of the bumper, its simple pre run style, but still very clean and basic. its a cool design, i think youll be happy with it even without a lift. whats important is what do you want to see your truck evolve into while you own it? if this fits in your plans over time, do it! my only suggestion is research all the fab sites for visuals on comperable bumpers, see what you like so you arent making it twice. im happy with the way mine turned out, but there are a few things id change knowing how the project as a whole turned out. (smaller dia. tubing for starters for the bumper)

Correct me if I'm wrong but the donor pic with the bumper was taken at an angle to show it off ie....the camera was pretty much on the floor. Absolutly nobody apart from a circus dwarf will actually see it from that angle. most people will see it from a distance or from head hight. |
its a pretty cool looking bumper but i dunno if it would look good and if its worth the money. how much is it gonna cost?
|
WTF!!
John, stop talking me!! You already said you don't want my tea and fish & chips!! lol |

ok guys the bumper is only 150 w.out the lights and the truck doesnt have flared bumpers for he record
|
and i prob wont be lifting it soon MAYBE a blm but if i do that ill have to fab it to make it work..... but for 150 im like i cnt go wrong
|
Damn he is letting that go cheap....
|
for 150 i'd probably do it
|
are you gonna plate it more? it looks naked with all that exposed area and only that teeny tiny skidplate. it looks out of proportion imo
