I'm too tall for my truck. So my scan gauge is right on the column, and gives me easy fast input of data from the truck. Mostly speed and MPGs:

I don't understand why someone would put it on the rearview mirror. What a pain in the butt to read and super unsafe. Stick to the column, mang.

I like your setup grant... You know if I borrowed someones gauge, I could make custom mounts for them...

i have mine on the colum like so, but the way the newer gauges are, it covers all the warning lights

TrePaul86 01-21-2010 10:12 PM

Well, I'd like to see where somepeople want them mounted, and then I can go from there...

Who needs warning lights anyways? lol

What about a set-up like the EDGE programmer in F-150s, on the dash to the left of the steering wheel, anything possible there you think?

Not the scangauge II but there is something somewhat similar that I've seen mounted by the steering wheel:

I like those aeroforce gauges. I might order a couple for my truck. I have a scangauge but I really don't have anywhere to mount it.

TrePaul86 01-22-2010 02:41 AM

I'm talking more of a alum or thin sheet steel metal bracket that can be attached to a spot in the truck convienent for the driver... I'm no bueno with fiberglass... Lol

RangerJustin 01-22-2010 09:28 AM

Haha, alright, it was worth a shot...now go practice glassin!

mcpink 01-23-2010 09:22 AM

I was wondering what that would look like. I've got mine on the blendmount over the mirror right now, but will need to move it when I get the OHC installed.

TrePaul86 01-23-2010 12:32 PM

Whose silver truck is that in?
