Minor sctatch yesterday
I was on my way to the store to pick up something for my wife before heading to pick up my youngester pre school.
I was sitting at a traffic light on a side road waiting to turn on to the main stretch, as the light turned green I paused as I always do at that intersection b/c not every car stops, I've seen it a millions times, especially trucks already crusing (for my friend on here from York, Fairlane and Loucks RD). One car blew through the intersection, I started to turn left when I got the green light, when out of the corner of my eye I see this car coming fast, I step on my brake hoping I wasn't too far out, mean while thinking, "What the heck is she doing?" Well I was a little too far out. Her side of Buick scraped the whole front my Focus. Apparently she was part of a funeral processional. However no markers to indicate it. My two friends at work, said they would have kept going and let her take out my whole front, so I could either get my car totaled or get a whole new front end done with newer headlights. yeah I don't think so. The officer told her plainly she should have stopped and what she did was risky. Oh, she was an elderly lady. Born in 1938! bummer..glad it was only cosmetic and not too bad
|
Yeah, if you had not been paying attention, this could have been nasty.
|
1938?
I never knew they let dead people drive cars these days! |
You're so lucky she didn't clip the whole front end. That's actually kind of cool how she only scraped the bumper like that. Considering it could have been much worse.
