Replacing Dashboard lights
Hi all,
I have a 2001 Ranger XLT and some of the dash board lights are out. What and how involved is it to change those out? Sherry |
Not too bad....

Yeah, it's not bad at all, and the How To STL linked to is spot on. Takes maybe an hour to an hour and a half if you go slow. Well worth it, though.

STL definatly got you covered bro!

...should I just del. my post?

Thank You Every One
Knew I could find the answer here. My poor truck took a real beating before I purchased it - but like a Ford, it just keeps going.
I only knew some of the dash board lights were out and was told it could be a nightmare to replace them (from a Mercedes owner no less), LOL. Still will mark the info but will have to wait till it's a little warmer to do this. 20+ degrees with no shelter in Illinois is not good for auto work. Thank you again, Sherry |
If you change the color of the bulbs can you still control them with the dimmer switch?
