Number 19...

I guess some of you may not know me, I am new on this forum but very familiar with rangers...lol Anyway I just got home with # 19. She needs a motor but still runs. 196,000 miles 3.0 auto, loaded with all the options. I'll probably get started unhooking stuff and get it in the garage this afternoon a have it running soon. She's going to need a tailgate and maybe some touch up. Thats all I know so far...lol
Here she is...

From what i can see looks like a great project truck. Any plans other than rebuilding it?

wvcat 01-16-2010 07:27 PM

I am just going to go over everything and fix it up then sell it. The things I know so far is it needs a tailgate and a couple rust spots touched up. The abs light and check engine light is on. One of the rear brakes is grabbing. The exhaust will need some attention. After I get the motor changed and drive it I will know more.

lol, no biggie. any other progress made?

Hey John, do you mind posting up a shot of the door sticker for me? Trying to pinpoint what that color is. Not quite that Burnt Orange, yet not quite Toreador Red. Even just the Exterior Color code would work too. Thanks!!

I got the motor changed and its running good now. I swapped out the exhaust from the cats back. Pulled the cluster last night to see if that was the fuel gauge problem, not that lucky$#@$#@! Changed the bulbs while I had it out. ...thats about it so far

Thanks John! Added to my nifty little list of paint codes and pics here in my desk. lol. EDIT: And now we have a name....Bright Amber Metallic Clearcoat.

I really really really regret not buying that '98 reg cab steppie 2.5 5spd splash in that color when I had the money and had the chance.
