95 budget ranger

So i started this thread to show everyone my work in progress. I have yet to do much to it yet, but this weekend I will be cranking out some stuff. Here it is when i first got it. :) Let me know what everyone thinks. Got 119k on it with some rust ( typical mass vehicle) but runs great so far. http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/...cknoplates.jpg

Central mass area, too many rusty vehicles around, but plenty of scrapyards! :D

Well I got some work done this past week. Gave it an oil change, coolant flush, replaced the driver fender, headlight and header panel and grill, gave it a good wash and buff/wax, replaced the dash bulbs with blue LED's, new set of rear tires, put some new floor-mats in, and did some interior work.

New headlight, grill, and header panel.

New LED bulbs ( replacing hvac bulbs next)

Up to come is a new passenger door, spray some bedliner on the rockers, and fix an exhaust leak. Also taking off the bed at some point to replace the fuel filler neck and one of the spring shackles. I also painted some interior pieces that i'll take pics of tomorrow. :D

They fit pretty snug in the cab and hold up well so far. Nice Ranger design on them too :)

So I ordered some led lights for under the seats in the cab off ebay for 17 bucks, http://www.ebay.com/itm/261010875316...#ht_4027wt_952which included the on/off switch( not sure where i'll stick it) and I got a new belt, idler pulley, and belt tensioner.

When I get home i'm going to be replacing the belt and pulleys, along with cleaning the MAF and IAC sensors. While i'm at it i might as well detail the engine bay too.

The hitch is all rusted so i'm thinking of taking it off, cleaning it up a maybe selling it for a couple extra bucks. Going to the jy as well to scour some new seats, passenger door, and if i can find them, some bed rail caps. I'll have some pics up this weekend if the weather is good! :D

Well I realize it's been a while, but i've been super busy and haven't had a chance to update what I've been doing. I finally got around to replacing the fuel filler neck, and while I was at it I decided to replace one of the hangars and paint the frame with a gallon of rust-shield I had left over from my dads shop. Had a tough time getting the bed bolts out, but with some patience and grease they got out in 1 piece :) I also fixed my high idle speed by cleaning the IAC Sensor, replaced front rotors and pads, and replaced the shitty blue led's I put in the dash with stock ones. sorry I don't have alot of pics, so these will have to do! I'll update more often from now on :) I'm in the process of taking out all the scratches.

Re: 95 budget ranger

I loved the LED's I just bought some real crappy bulbs that kept flickering on and off and I didn't want to spend more money to get better ones. Word of advice, pay the extra couple bucks to get the good ones. :)
