2000 Ranger 4 wheel drive
 

My ranger has a vacumn leak and mechanic can not find it. We manually locked the hubs (vacumn assist hubs) and 4 wheel drive worked. Suddenly it doesn't go into 4 wheel although the 4x4 light illuminates. Any ideas?

possible shift motor problem listen for it engaging. if not might need to do this
