overheated
 
Overheated white smoke coming out of the exhaust so i pulled ovever and ahut it off and i let it cool down when i went to start it again there was a single click and nothing else

any ideas please post.

Yes, your head gasket is blown. Time for a tow. If it wouldn't turn over, that is not a good sign.

^what he said... and it's probably just hydro locked from the coolant in the combustion chamber

I second what FireRanger said!! Most likely a cylinder is full of coolant in what is called hydrostatic lock, simple physics you can't compress a liquid!! But the good news is it was still running when you turn it off. Had it been running you may have bent a rod or cracked a piston.
