Re: 1999 auto locking hub problems
i have AVM hubs and they work great. all you have to do is go to each when and lock it, then put it in 4x4 and she should work. then for fuel economy u can unlock it and the front wheels will just free wheel instead of spinning the from cv shafts. as for why yours stopped working who knows, could be vacuum leak, hubs could be stuck in the unlocked position. manual hubs are way more reliable.

The 4x4 lights have started to flash on my dash and they wont stop, and when I turn the switch to engage the 4x4 it doesn't work. Do you have any ideas?

Re: 1999 auto locking hub problems
I unplugged the wires to the electronic shift control module and plugged them back up and it worked for a few seconds and then theres a clicking noise that comes from it then it stops and the 4x4 still doesnt work and the lights still flash
---------- and it worked long enough that it's stuck in 4high |
