Superchip on a v6 4.0?
 

I was wondering if anyone has put a superchip on a v6 4.0 ranger. If so i was asking how much of a gas mileage increase it is, and how much more hp there is? Thanks

I installed one on my 3.0L no dyno numbers but the fun factor went way up. And it adjusted for my larger tires, I opted to firm up the shifting, and eliminate the top speed limiter.

did it help at all with your gas mileage?

yeah it did, also did the airbox mod and new spark plugs & went to synthetic oil. so cant say what did what. but my mileage went up about 2-4 MPG overall. Its hard to stay off the skinny pedal though :) or see what to top end really is. 140mph according to the handheld GPS. And still had some throttle. Oh did I tell you I LOVE the big open roads in Texas!
