Radio Bezel

hey can someone give me some tips. I'm trying to take out my radio bezel and I cant get one screw out! the one on the drivers side is stripped...head and treads, it only turns in place. I've tried drilling, smaller ratchet..etc... can someone help me out here?

Sounds like your just going to have to rip it out. Did you try plyers? vice grips?

Try using an easy out, or a left handed drill bit. They also make small sockets with a spiral inside for removing hex bolts. I have a set, but my set doesn't go that small.

Or try a dremel cut off tool, cut the head off, or cut a new notch in it for a flat head screwdriver.

Hope u get it man... just dont tear it up and brake shit that you will regret.
There's a way to do it, just need the right tool and some patience.

Doing that would probably break it and cause alot of damage. I would only RIP it out as a last resort....

Its already stripped so why would you go out of you way that much on one screw you can rip out with pliers. 1 screw and the clips should be enough to hold it in place.

I thought you meant RIP the Bezel out, lol..
I think he means the head of the bolt is stripped, not the threads.

Good luck trying to grab that sucker and having enough force to pull the screw out.

If its the heads just use Vice grips like I said before.
